The new live-action The Little Mermaid movie stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, a mermaid eager to explore more of the world -- but not her underwater world. Ariel wants to be where the people are.
When Ariel falls for Jonah Hauer-King's Prince Eric, she becomes more eager than ever to walk alongside humans so makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Melissa McCarthy's Ursula.
The new The Little Mermaid movie is directed by Rob Marshall and also stars Javier Bardem as King Triton, Daveed Diggs as the voice of Sebastian, Awkwafina as the voice of Scuttle, and Jacob Tremblay as the voice of Flounder.
