Delicious Poor man burnt ends on the pitbarrel cooker.

Published on Thu, Dec 24th 2020 People & Blogs Rectangular HD

Poor man burnt ends. I got the @meatergram keeping the temps on check on this chuck roast. Super easy to do with the right temperature on when to remove it from the heat.
.
.
Instructions
Slather chuck roast with mustard as a binder (optional) then add your favorite bbq rub. Insert @meatergram and put on grill at 250 degrees. Remove from heat at 165 and wrap in foil, do not cover the end of probe as it will not communicate with your phone. Put back on grill and remove at 195 internal temp, slice into cubes add to a oven safe dish and add unsalted butter 4 tbsp, your favorite bbq sauce and wrap with foil. Remove after one hour and check for tenderness, let rest for 10 min and enjoy.

Description
Hey everyone my name is Miguel and welcome to my channel! I am by no means a professional chef, but I do have a passion for cooking great food. I started to really get into cooking about 5 years ago. On the 4th of July I invited my family over for a bbq and I made some ribs on a smoker I bought from Walmart for $34. The ribs were absolutely tough and not flavorful at all. This is what struck a chord in me and gave me the drive to want to learn to cook. I am originally from Mexico, my parents immigrated here when I was 6. I now live in California, happily married and a proud dad to my 3 amazing kids. Thanks for joining me on my journey
