A science team on a deep space mission from the Hexagon crashes on the distant planet of Terra, with only one survivor. His presence has caused a shakeup to the Five Kingdoms of the planet, setting forth a prophecy thousands of years in the making, with the uprising of the underground kingdom: Bugnarok. Now a long way from Earth, he will have to join forces with the rulers of the other kingdoms to combat them as well as revolt against the corrupt ruler of the central kingdom called Ironvale. By combining Terran and Hexagon technology from Earth, they reconstruct the ancient Insectizords and become the planet's legendary heroes known as the Power Rangers InsectiForce.
