You may recall that Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, has an enchantment on it that makes it so that only people who are worthy can lift it. But who exactly is worthy? How heavy is it? Can you lift it in space? Can Magneto lift Thor's hammer? Find out the answers to all these things and more in this episode of Comic Misconceptions. Huzzah!

A quick note about BETA RAY BILL and others:
The initial main focus of this video was not to be a comprehensive list of who has ever held Thor's hammer. I know the title is a bit misleading there, but that's just because I changed it from "The Science of Thor's Hammer" since people were berating me about not actually going over any science. The new title seemed to encapsulate the theme of the episode, but again it's in no way a complete list of people who have lifted Mjolnir. Keep that in mind, and thanks for watching!

Every Wednesday, Comic Misconceptions explores fascinating trivia, crazy stories, and mind-blowing theories about the comic book universe from Marvel, DC, and beyond!

Description
Hey, you wonderful nerd! I'm Scott, and here's my story...

I was a terrible student in school and eventually failed out of college, but I discovered that I actually love learning! History, philosophy, culture, art — you name it. I just needed to learn through a topic I was already passionate about. So I turned to my incredibly nerdy interests like comic books, superhero movies, Scooby-Doo cartoons, Dungeons & Dragons, and even Bob Ross.

Through these lenses of pop culture, I make video essays that critically examine nerdy media through curiosity and vulnerability. And, of course, lots of context with very little content!
