The story of Lord Vishnu having a dispute with Lakshmi ji in this regard is very popular. It is said that there was a disagreement between Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi on some issue and Lakshmi ji got angry with them and came to earth and Lord Vishnu also followed them on the earth.

It is said that since then Lord Vishnu has been residing in the form of Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the high hills of Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh region of India. Story of Lord Vishnu settling on earth

It is said that once Maharishi Bhrigu wanted to test the patience of Lord Vishnu. For this purpose, Maharishi Bhrigu once visited Vaikunthdham, the abode of Lord Vishnu. At that time it was time for Lord Vishnu to sleep. Lord Vishnu was sleeping on Sheshnag in Kshir Sagar. Then Maharishi Bhrigu entered Baikunth Dham.

Maharishi Bhrigu wanted to make Lord Vishnu angry by breaking his deep sleep so that the Lord would lose his patience and he would be defeated in this test of patience. In order to annoy Lord Vishnu, Maharishi Bhrigu attacked Lord Vishnu's seat Sheshnag with his feet. Due to which the sleep of Lord Vishnu, who was sleeping in deep sleep, was disturbed. Laxmi ji was sitting there watching the whole scene.



He did not like this nature of Maharishi Bhrigu. At the same time, he asked Lord Vishnu to give severe punishment to Maharishi Bhrigu for this insolence so that Maharishi Bhrigu could be punished for his act. But even after Maharishi Bhrigu hurt Sheshnag and broke his deep sleep, Lord Vishnu lovingly said to Maharishi Bhrigu that you are welcome in our Vaikunth Dham, O monk.

Lord Surya is the direct incarnation, it has been said in the Vedas also.
Come sit, in our Vaikunth Dham, I am ready to serve you every moment. When Lakshmi ji saw that Lord Vishnu was treating Maharishi Bhrigu instead of punishing him, his heart was hurt. According to Lakshmi ji's mind, when Maharishi Bhrigu was not punished, she got angry with Vishnu ji and went to the earth. Lord Vishnu became very worried.

Then he saw with his divine vision and came to know that Lakshmi ji has incarnated in the form of Padmavati in the earth world. Lord Vishnu thought that now he too should go to the earth and celebrate his beloved Lakshmi. Thinking this, Lord Vishnu also reached the earth. When Lakshmi ji saw Lord Vishnu in the earth world, she was very pleased to see his wonderful love.



Now there was not even the slightest anger in his heart towards Lord Vishnu. Now Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi ji made up their mind to reside on the earth in the form of Lord Sri Venkateswara Tirupati Balaji on the hills of Tirumala in the south in the interest of the people of the earth and settled on this hill. It is said that even today Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi ji in their living form are situated in the Tirumala hills of the south.



Even today people feel about his divine power. Known as Tirupati Venkateswara Temple, this Dham is a major pilgrimage site in India. This Dham of Lord Vishnu is situated at an altitude of 32000 feet above sea level. This temple of Tirupati Balaji is mentioned in the mythological texts by the name Trivandgam.
