THE SUICIDE SQUAD Clip "This Is Not a Dog" | 2021 | HD James Gunn DC
Published on Fri, Jul 30th 2021 Entertainment Rectangular HD
It's always frustrating when a studio releases boring stills and even more useless clips from their films in an attempt to garner hype. Thankfully, Warner Bros. is delivering the goods with these brand new clips from The Suicide Squad, the brand new DC adaptation from horror veteran James Gunn (SLiTHER). The film has even been described by one critic hailed as “a big-budgeted Troma movie.”
The first clip is more action-packed, putting the squad in a bit of danger when something huge, no, massive comes bursting through the ground. For those keeping tabs, it's a giant starfish and Harley Quinn is frozen in shock.
The latter footage is hilarious, taking us inside a swat van/plane(?) where the Suicide Squad go into a full-blown panic when they think they're sitting right next to a werewolf.
"He's not a werewolf, okay? He's a weasel! He's harmless," exclaims Rick Flag. "I mean, he's not harmless, he's killed twenty-seven children, but... y'know."
The Suicide Squad comes to theaters and HBO Max on August 6.
