আজারবাইজান ইউরেশিয়ার ককাসাসীয় অঞ্চলের একটি দেশ। এই দেশটি ১৯৯১ সালে সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন থেকে স্বাধীনতা লাভ করে । আজারবাইজানের উত্তরে রাশিয়া, পূর্বে কাস্পিয়ান সাগর, দক্ষিণে ইরান, পশ্চিমে আর্মেনিয়া, উত্তর-পশ্চিমে জর্জিয়া । দেশটির রাজধানীর নাম বাকু । আজারবাইজানের অর্থনীতি মূলত তেল শিল্পের উপর নির্ভরশীল । দেশটিতে প্রচুর তেল ও গ্যাসের মজুদ রয়েছে ।

Azerbaijan is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. This country gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Azerbaijan is bordered by Russia to the north, Caspian Sea to the east, Iran to the south, Armenia to the west, Georgia to the northwest. The capital of the country is Baku. Azerbaijan's economy is mainly dependent on the oil industry. The country has abundant oil and gas reserves.
