Back to Back Ripping Overtakes of Mangala Express by Bhopal Shatabdi Express & Pune Duronto Express!

One of the rarest sighting that I witnessed during my early morning RF outing at Vrindavan Road station on a hot summer day was the back to back overtakes of 12618 Mangala Lakshadweep Express led by BZA WAP-7#39340 at hands of 12002 Bhopal Shatabdi Express and 12264 Pune Duronto Express.

First came in the Early Morning Thunderstorm.... The Undisputed Speed King of this route.. making it's presence felt in the India's fastest sector. The Oldie from the Ghaziabad Shed ie. GZB WAP-5#30020 takes the command of the 12002 Bhopal Shatabdi Express as it announces it's arrival with a thunderous
honking show and in no time belts past Vrindavan Road station and the sidelined 12618 Mangala Lakshadweep Express at 150 km/hr speed while generating thundering track sounds.

Hot on the Heels of the 12002 Bhopal Shatabdi Express was the fierce Pune Duronto Express. Led by Vadadora's White Cheetah ie. BRC WAP-7#37577, the 12264 Pune Duronto Express just like Bhopal Shatabdi Express also announces it's arrival with a thundering honking show and hammers past
Vrindavan Road station at 130 km/hr while handing the sidelined 12618 Mangala Lakshadweep Express it's second consecutive overtake.

After witnessing the back to back overtakes, the Mangala Lakshadweep Express resumed it's journey enroute to Ernakulam Junction.
