A set of videos captured on the Independence day near Udupi. I was lucky enough to get five premier passenger trains in a span of 75 minutes (which is a huge bonus on a single line section). Kudos to the Konkan Railway section controlling which managed 5 trains in just three stations in just 90 minutes! The train sceanrio :
1) 12133 Mumbai CST Mangalore SF Express (KYN WDP-4D) crossing this location at 02 30 PM and reaching Udupi at 2 38 PM!. 22114 KCVL LTT SF Express was waiting for 12133 at Udupi. Some strange section controlling from KR as 22114 had arrived Udupi at 1 40 PM, and by that time 12133 had only departed Bijoor( nearly 50 kms from UD).
2) 22114 with a KYN WDG-3A which was made to wait for nearly 50 minutes at UD finally proceeds towards Barkur at 2 42 PM. Meanwhile the 12620 Matsyagandha Express had arrived Padubidri (Next station after UD towards MAJN) at 2 20 PM. It was also made to wait till 12133 departed Udupi (2 40 PM) and crossed Padubidri (2 55 PM) .
3) With lot of drama going on in and around UD, the 19260 Bhavangar Kochuveli Express (with a VTA WDM-3A) had silently made its way from Bhatkal to Barkur (A station before Udupi) and was made to halt there at 2 50 PM (Since 22114 had already departed UD at 2 42 PM). After 22114 blasted through the main-line of Barkur, 19260 got a starter from Barkur at 2 56 PM and crossed through my location this reaching Udupi at 3 10 PM.
4) After letting through 12133, the 12620 Matsyagandha SF Express (with ED WDP-4D) departed from Padubidri at 2 57 PM and reached Udupi at 3 15 PM. Both 19260 and 12620, having scheduled halt at Udupi, departed Udupi at 3 17 PM towards their respective destinations.
5) Admist all these events, a horribly late running 22150 PUNE ERS SF Express (with ERS WDM-3A) had got a crazy non-stop run from Bhatkal to Udupi. 22114 LTT SF Express reached Kundapura at 3 10 PM and 12620 Matsyagandha SF Express reached Barkur at 3 30 PM! Both were waiting in loop for the late running ripper 22150 which passed Kundapura at 3 25 PM, Barkur at 3 37 PM and reached Udupi at 3 52 PM, giving a amazing honking show at my location.
Meanwhile, the poor 56666 Byndoor Kasargod passenger had reached Kundapura at 2 15 PM and was silently watching all the drama of late running trains! It finally got a starter at 3 50 PM from Kundapura after the passing of north bound Matsyagandha Express.

Location : Between Barkur and Udupi
Captured on 15th August, 2016!
