Pat Cummins withdraws 'Obstracting the field' appeal against Ravindra Jadeja

Australian players like to play cricket hard, and they don’t believe in taking a step back if they decide to go for anything. However, a different side of an Aussie player was witnessed during the IPL 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.
Pat Cummins is leading SRH in the 17th season and showed his generous side when he withdrew the obstructing the field against Ravindra Jadeja. The third umpire would have given the CSK all-rounder out as he initially came between the ball, which was heading towards the stumps. He changed his movement, and the ball hit him and managed to survive run-out.
The incident happened in the 19th over of the CSK innings. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a yorker, and Jadeja came out of the crease to block it. The ball went back to the bowler, who tried to hit the stumps, but Jaddu blocked his way, and the SRH applied against the rival player. However, Cummins decided to withdraw the appeal.
