Periapical abscess in a dog. When a bad tooth causes an infection under the eye.

Published on Sat, Mar 9th 2024 Pets & Animals Rectangular HD

Meet Ben. He is an older Yorkie who presented at my veterinary clinic with a draining wound under his right eye. This is almost always because of a bad premolar that needs to be removed. He ended up having all of his remaining teeth extracted. His full story with pricing can be found at Pawbly.com.

Description
I am a small animal veterinarian who posts about the pets I meet and the ailments, diseases, and conditions they have. Demonstrations on how to identify, manage, and care for these are provided. I also try to include estimated costs of care when pertinent. You can also find more pet information on my blog at http://KMDVM.blogspot.com. You can also ask me any pet question at Pawbly.com
