Team GB took the VMXDN crown lead by fan favourite Tommy Searle in a great weekend of nostalgia and quality racing at Foxhill. Searle took the third moto win to the delight of the home crown as Mel Pocock braved the pain of very badly twisted and maybe even broken ankle sustained while running second in race one but he still got the results along with Brad Anderson to dominate the event.

Evgeny Bobryshev won the overall individually taking the wins in races one and four, with Elliot Banks Browne winning race two and an ecstatic Searle taking the third moto win in front of a crowd that evoked memories of the GP glory days in the 90s.

Great racing with a plethora of British champions battling hard all weekend in the main class made it one to remember as Searle, MacKenzie, Irwin, Osborne, Anderson, Crockard all facing off along with the rapid Anderson, Bobreyshev and Pocock.

Northern Ireland took second overall with Irwin and Bradshaw hovering just in or just outside the top five all weekend with Gordon Crockard not getting the best starts and coming through the field each time, doing his bit for the team.

Zach Osborne was up front for team USA but went down in the final moto trying to make contact with Brad Anderson in a tight right hander, there was only ever gong to be one winner there! Osborne led race three but would end up second with Searle and Bobby blasting by only for Bobby to go down battling Tommy. Mike Brown didn’t have the speed of last year but still secured ninth overall with team USA third overall.
