The UBC Department of Medicine is proud to launch our new strategic plan.
Supporting and providing our eighteen divisions of faculty, staff, and learners with a renewed vision, mission, and goals, and how we achieve them together.

Prioritizing the importance of strengthening and forging new collaborative relationships, leads to transformational work like these two programs, led by Dr. Mypinder Sehkon and Dr. Seonaid Nolan.

The Northern Medical Program and the University of Northern BC are situated on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, part of the Dakelh (Carrier) First Nations.

With respect the Lekwungen peoples on whose traditional territory the Island Medical Program and the University of Victoria stand and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
