FUN Bento styled lunch ideas PLUS what she ate! Today I wanted to share some more lunch ideas! We are getting close to the start of the new school year and everything is a bit "unsure" right now. All my lunch ideas are great for school but also perfect for having at home.
The first lunch has adorable peanut butter sandwiches cut into the shapes of stars and hearts with pickles, black olives, mandarin oranges and tomatoes for the sides.
The second lunch is my take on a pizza lunchable! I sent triscuit crackers with pizza sauce and all the yummy pizza toppings Bella loves! Like black olives, pepperoni and shredded cheese and thrm a yummy strawberry on the side.
The third lunch I used puzzle cookie cutters to cut out the shapes in her turkey and mustard sandwich. I then added to her lunch some mini sweet peppers, black olives, apple sauce and grape tomatoes.
The last lunch of the week was probably her new favorite. CEREAL! I put dry cereal in her bentgo box added some honey to sweeten in and put the milk in a food jar on the side. I also included string cheese, yogurt with strawberries, mandarin oranges and tomatoes.
You'll notice most weeks I'll use many of the same ingredients just switching up how I use them or pairing different ones together. You can do that as well using your child's favorite foods. Keep trying new foods every now and then kids taste buds will and do change constantly. Also know that something they have always loved they may all of a sudden no longer love or even want anymore. If you've been with us for awhile you have probably noticed that happen with Bella on more than one occasion and then I'm sitting here thinking are you kidding me?! Haha! Anyway this week I used the bentgo boxes for all of Bella's lunches you can find them in my link affiliate store linked below. It's a great lunch box because it is leak-proof and only 2 dishes to wash (I love that part!) Also no worry on losing lids because this one is attached!!
