What if a whale swallowed you? I am damn sure that you must have ever thought that as a whale is so huge, can you get out of its body from its back side.
If a Mysticetes whale like a Humpback whale tried to swallow you, it will not be able to pass you through its 15-inch diameter esophagus, and it will throw you out of its mouth. A lot of divers have got out of the mouth of this whale alive.
But if a toothed whale like a Sperm whale took you inside itself, it will chew you with its sharp teeth. But even if this whale swallowed you without chewing as its esophagus size is comparatively large, your death will start approaching you from here.
First of all, you would fall into the first stomach compartment from the digestive tract of the whale. The stomach muscle will squeeze you and send your body to the main stomach. The digestive juices and hydrochloric acid present here will dissolve your body parts. Now your body will get completely digested in the next two stomachs, and get out of the whale in the next 10-15 hours in the form of waste.
Although some people claim their survival after getting into the Tooth whale's stomach, it is not possible logically.
