Habba had claimed that the legal problems that Donald Trump is facing are all being directed by President Biden and The White House, and Bream was quick to call out this lie and correct it. Habba wasn't happy about that, and she then doubled down on Biden's involvement in spite of a complete lack of evidence of anything. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Trump lawyer, Alina Habba, who of course has not been representing him in the hush money trial, but she has been an outspoken critic of the trial. She has appeared at the trial many, many days, and she's basically been on TV as much as humanly possible to try to make the public not understand what's happening in court, which is actually the opposite job of what a lawyer's supposed to do. But it's what Alina Habba's been doing. And this week during an appearance on Fox News, she didn't have a good go of it because Alina Habba attempted to tell Fox News host Shannon Bream, that President Biden was behind all of these legal problems for Donald Trump. And the host quickly shot this down by fact checking Alina Habba, which definitely did not go over well with Alina Habba, who is not used to anyone in the media appearances that she gives pushing back on her lies.

So here is how that exchange took place. Alina Habba said, quote, Joe Biden unfortunately can't really do anything in office, so he's got to use the same means as somebody who's trying to have a quick slip and fall and make money. And that is frankly what we're seeing right now. This is exactly a Biden show because he's got to distract the American people. And Shannon Bream said, but the Biden administration's not responsible for this trial. And at that point, Alina Habba starts getting a little angry and she goes, how can you say the Biden administration is not responsible for this trial? And Bream calmly says, it's a state trial. It's Alvin Bragg, whether you think there's a political motive for him, it's not connected to the DOJ. I mean, the Feds passed on these election charges.

And Habba getting angrier says, Shannon, you should look at how many logs they have of state officials, Letitia James, Fani Willis visiting the White House, and then tell me that this is not a Biden trial. Then Bream goes, the Feds passed on this is the point I'm making. So Bream tries repeatedly, three different times, to not only tell her like, hey, that's not what happening. But also to explain to her that, hi Alina, um, Biden, the DOJ, the White House, any of those people, they don't have any control over what state prosecutors do. They don't have any control over what a local district attorney does. They can't order them to do anything. And Alina Habba's like, well, we've got logs of them going to the White House. Where? I do news every day. This is literally the first I've ever heard of it, and given the source that it's coming from, maybe it's true, maybe it's not.

Not to mention the fact that, okay, they went to the White House. They went to the White House after if, of course they did go at all, after the charges had been brought. So how can Biden be directing them to do it if they already did it before they ever met Biden? Right. That doesn't make sense in your little timeline there, Alina, even if what you're saying is true, it still couldn't be true because the timelines don't match. But I love the fact that Alina Habba got called out on Fox News by a Fox News host because she's lying. She's lying to the American public just like Donald Trump does. They're preparing for him to be convicted on at least one of the charges against him, if not more than that. And they're trying to make it seem like it's no big deal because Biden directed the whole thing. It's a political witch hunt. No, it's not.
