Talented ukulele artist and 2024 Artist-in-Residence at Shangri La, Taimane joins forces with Mana Maoli’s "Kupu Collective" (young adult) artists Tomboy Mani and Kapono Wong for a captivating Live Outside performance. Enjoy this mesmerizing medley that seamlessly blends Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony” with Taimane’s original composition, “Jupiter.” The harmonious collaboration showcases their abilities to bridge classical and contemporary sounds using the Hawaiian ukulele, guitar, and vocals, creating a unique and enchanting musical experience. The performance takes place inside the courtyard of Shangri La, a center of the Doris Duke Foundation in Honolulu, Hawai’i.
