Most Rarest Captured Train at 130kmph: 12594 Bhopal-Lucknow Garib Rath Express Sprints past Babina.!

One of the rarest captured trains of Indian Railways and that too at 130 km/hr speed is the 12593/94 Bhopal-Lucknow Jn. Garib Rath Express... This train is one of the only two Garib Rath trains that is cleared for 130 km/hr operations in the Bhopal-Jhansi route post the speed upgradation of the Bina-Bhopal route.

Capturing both the Garib Raths is a daunting task in this route but every daunting task is just a mere challenge for me and the quest to capture this train made me land at my old nemesis spot ie. Babina. This was the only station that was a viable option to capture the Bhopal-Lucknow Garib Rath Express at 130 km/hr as there are a few stations that offer good lighting facility to capture night ripping actions. Also, to my surprise that this Garib Rath train was doing 110 km/hr in the Bhopal-Bina route on multiple ocassions which made me rethink about changing spots from Mandi Bamora to Babina.

So, on a humid summer night, I landed at Babina station to capture this rare action. During the peak hours of the night when everything was calm and quite, in came the moment that I had waited for quite a long time... The night silence was broken as the Offlink from Ghaziabad shed ie. GZB WAP-7#37239 led 11-coacher 12594 Bhopal-Lucknow Jn Garib Rath Express first announced it's arrival with some nice honking as it smoothly negotiated the curve at the station outer and in no time the fierce Garib Rath Express bulleted past me and Babina station at flat 130 km/hr speed while generating thundering track sounds.! It was a soothing sight seeing the NER's Flying Saucer ( a term coined by Kolkata Railfans for Kolkata-Patna Garib Rath) leaving no stone unturned in showcasing it's aggression.
