Dr. Dre is a rapper, producer, and entrepreneur. He co-founded the rap group N.W.A., and following the group's breakup he released a solo album called "The Chronic." In 2015 he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

In his late teens Dr. Dre developed an interest in music composition and production from listening to electro music from artists such as Yellow Magic Orchestra, Kraftwerk, and Parliament Funkadelic while attending high school in LA in the mid-1980s.

He has produced albums for and overseen the careers of many rappers, including 2Pac, The D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xzibit, 50 Cent, The Game, Drake and Kendrick Lamar
