Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Cooking oil 3-4 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 3 medium
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) sliced 2-3 medium
-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 7-8
-Badam (Almonds) boiled & peeled 12-15
-Water ¼ Cup
-Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) ½ tsp
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
-Laung (Cloves) 2
-Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 1
-Chicken mix boti 750g
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs
-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
-Himalayan pink salt 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 & ½ tsp
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Garam masala powder ½ tsp
-Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tsp
-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ¾ Cup
Prepare Tarka:
-Cooking oil 1 tbs
-Makhan (Butter) 2-3 tbs
-Sukhi lal mirch (Dried red chillies) 3-4
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
Directions:
-In a pot,add cooking oil,onion & fry until light golden.
-Add tomatoes,green chillies & cook on medium flame until tomatoes are soft (3-4 minutes).
-Let it cool.
-Transfer to a blending jar,add almonds,water,blend well & set aside.
-In the same pot,add black peppercorns,cumin seeds,cloves,star anise & mix well.
-Add chicken,ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
-Add black pepper powder,coriander powder,pink salt,cumin seeds,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,dried fenugreek leaves & mix well.
-Add blended paste,yogurt & mix well,cover & cook on medium flame for 12-15 minutes.
Prepare Tarka:
-In a small frying pan,add cooking oil,butter & let it melt.
-Add dried red chillies,fresh coriander & mix well.
-Pour prepared tarka in chicken & serve with naan.

-Pot mein cooking oil aur pyaz dal ker light golden ho janay tak fry ker lein.
-Tamatar aur hari mirchein dal dein aur darmiyani ancch per tamatar naram ho jaay tak paka lein (3-4 minutes).
-Thanda ker lein.
-Blending jug mein dal dein,badam aur pani dal ker ache tarhan blend ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Us he pot mein sabut kali mirch,zeera,laung aur badiyan ka phool dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Chicken aur adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per 3-4 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Kali mirch powder,dhania powder,pink salt,zeera,haldi powder,garam masala powder ar kasuri methi dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Blended paste aur dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker darmiyani ancch per 12-15 minutes kliya paka lein.
Prepare Tarka:
-Chotay fryig pan mein cooking oil aur makhan dal ker melt ker lein.
-Sukhi lal mirch aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Tayyar tarka ko chicken mein dal ker naan ka saath serve karein.
